Keynote Speaker

Isai "Izzy" Sanchez

Born in Veracruz, Mexico, and raised in Louisville, Isai “Izzy” Sanchez is a DACA recipient and Central High School graduate. He holds an MBA and bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Louisville, along with credentials as a Certified Development Finance Professional and Franchise Manager.

Izzy’s career spans commercial real estate analytics, commercial lending, and private equity. Today, he serves as Director of Innovation at One Louisville—connecting founders, investors, and corporate partners across key regional industries—and manages portfolio operations for Ruiz Enterprises, a major regional logistics family office.

A dedicated community leader, Izzy serves on the board of the Louisville Hispanic/Latino Chamber of Commerce and has a long history of grassroots activism.

He lives in Louisville with his wife, Victorya, as they prepare to welcome their first child.

For 33 years, Americana Community Center has stood as a beacon for refugees, immigrants, and underserved neighbors in Louisville. We often hear the phrase E Pluribus Unum—"Out of many, one." But true community isn’t about blending in or losing who you are; it’s about bringing your distinct story, culture, and individual strengths to the table.
